  • Any experience with the NPEBseq method/algorithm?

    Hi all,

Have any of you worked with the "NPEBseq: nonparametric empirical bayesian-based procedure for differential expression analysis of RNA-seq data" method/algorithm?

I am fairly new to NGS and working on RNASeq data, I find the myriad of methods and approaches mildly speaking mind-boggling.

I think the NPEBseq approach looks very interesting, so I am interested in hearing if any of you have any experience with the method or feel very strongly for another method and if so, which on and why?

    Cheers,
    Leon

Really? No one tried it out, despite the author claiming that "NPEBSeq performs significantly better than current methods"?

Hmm... Think I'll give it a go today then...

    Cheers,
    Leon

          Strategies for Sequencing Challenging Samples
          by seqadmin

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
