Empty log2fold change rows in DEXSeq

    Dear all,
I have been analyzing some Drosophila data through DEXSeq and have found that in the final results table, several rows have empty log2fold values. These exons however do have P values and adjusted P values. I am using the estimateExonFoldChanges command to estimate fold changes. I am not sure if this is because of the minCount or maxExon restrictions.
I am using the latest version of DEXSeq.
    Thanking you.

    Dear Surjray

it may be difficult to help you based on the information provided. Can you post a self-contained code example (with example data, e.g. you could use the 'pasilla' package) that reproduces your problem. Also the output of 'sessionInfo()'.

To exclude the trivial, it looks like your screenshot is from a spreadsheet software, and these do not always behave as intended when importing data from text files such as produced by DEXSeq. Can you double-check how the output from DEXSeq looks in a text editor (like Notepad).

Beyond CRISPR/Cas9: Understand, Choose, and Use the Right Genome Editing Tool
      by SEQadmin2

CRISPR/Cas9 sparked the gene editing revolution for both research and therapeutics.1 But this system still showed severe issues that limited its applications. The most prominent were the heavy reliance on PAM sequences, delivery limitations, double-stranded breaks that prompt unintended edits and cell death, and editing inefficiency (both in targeting and in knock-in reliability).

Despite this, “CRISPR helped turn genome editing from a specialized technique into

Proteomic Platforms: How to Choose the Right Analytical Strategy to Improve Detection and Clinical Applications
      by SEQadmin2

Proteomics platforms are evolving rapidly, with advances in mass spectrometry and affinity-based approaches expanding what researchers can detect and at what scale. As the field moves toward deeper proteome coverage and clinical applications, scientists face an increasingly complex landscape of tools. This article will explore how researchers are navigating these choices to find the right platform for their work.

The systematic characterization of the human proteome has
