Irfanview can open 16-bit TIFF files but your other post indicated that it only saved one channel(?).
GIMP: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ may be an option.
Then there is photoshop (and perhaps photoshop elements) but they are not free. -
Thank you I will try GIMP and have emailed the irfanView developer as well. That is a great program it read an unreaable TIFF. Thanks for all your help.
