I'm using BWA 0.7.8 in Galaxy and I'm getting the following error:
bwase.c:180: bwa_refine_gapped_core: Assertion `re - rb == rlen' failed.
My Google-fu tells me that this is due to a bug in most of the 0.7.x versions. Does anyone know if this has been fixed in versions 0.7.9 or 0.7.10? Otherwise I'll probably have to downgrade to 0.6.x.
If I do have to downgrade, does anyone know of a good tutorial for installing BWA in Galaxy? I'm new to Galaxy (and bioinformatics in general). I'd need to remove the existing version and install the old version.
