can i run single application process on different processor

    Hello sir ,

myself surender sharma . Actually I have an application software CLC genomic workbench
    1) I have main workstation
Xeon processor which have 8 cores.
    32 GB RAM.
my application is running on this Xeon workstation.

    2) But I have
3 more xeon processor each has 8-8 cores.
each has 32 GB Ram .

As you know our appication is very heavy. so I want to share the load of application software CLC genomic workbench.on these 4 XEOn H/ws Parlleley.

Can I share this load parllaey please give some clue in brief. how can i do this?
1.if not then whts the solution of this problem into cluster.
    2) I want to share the load balance of my application on these h/ws parllely into the cluster mangement...
    please give me answer...

    Thanks

Do you have X7560 as your CPUs? I think it is the only CPU with 8 cores now.

If you have CLC software, and are paying for it or just doing a trial, you really should contact the company Tech Support to get the quickest help you need and not a forum. When I tried their software they were very responsive to my requests.

To answer the question in the thread title, I think you need to break down the single process into independent or dependent (way more complicated) parts and let them run in different processors.

I think you can ask them about how to configure. They should help you if you are still in the support period.

From Collection to Sequencing: Why Sample Preparation and Preservation Define Sequencing Data
                by SEQadmin2

Data variability is still an issue in sequencing technologies despite the advances in reproducibility and accuracy of these platforms. But the problem does not originate in the sequencing itself, but in the previous steps, before the sample reaches the sequencer.

The first step is collection, followed by preservation and sample preparation for analysis. Most scientists overlook those steps, but not being careful might just be skewing the experiment’s results.

Environmental Genomics in the Age of NGS: From Microbes to Conservation Strategies
                by SEQadmin2

Studying ecosystems means dealing with complex, multi-species communities that are hard to observe at scale. This complexity, however, hides many important questions to be answered, from how biogeochemical cycles work and how climate change can affect species distribution to how conservation strategies can work best.

Genomics, particularly since the expansion of NGS, has transformed ecosystem ecology. By sequencing environmental DNA, we can now assess biodiversity without direct...
