It is more than just OK.
But, as everything, it has pros and cons.
One of the major advantage is that you don't need local computational efforts, because everything is done at their servers.
And maybe the main disadvantage is that it you are limited by the analyses and outputs they have chosen. However, there is enough diversity and flexibility of them to do many of the most relevant.
Another problem is the lack of an official forum like the ones of mothur and qiime.
But in my opinion, go for it, you won't regret.
