At AllSeq we frequently get asked if we have a list of bioinformatics companies (or a specific subset of these companies). We track a lot of this info, but we've never really had a list in a format that was fit for public consumption. Prompted by another recent request, we decided to publish a portion of our data as a public Google spreadsheet.
The list is far from complete and some of the entries will be out of date, but with your input it could become a valuable community resource. Please note that in an effort to make this project manageable, this list is just for 'commercial solutions' and NOT a general list of all of the available NGS bioinformatics solutions out there. SEQanswers has a nice wiki for that if you're interested.
Hopefully some of you will find this list useful. Comments and suggestions for improving it are most welcome.
