I guess it depends on the nature of the question. A list of places that I would go to, in no particular order:- Bioconductor support site (Ideal for obscure errors when using Bioconductor packages or when you really need a reply from a package author)
- Cross validated (good for statistics questions)
- Biostars (good for general bioinformatics with R questions)
- Stack overflow (good for more general CS/coding questions)
There is an R-help mailing list, though I've never used or followed it. An R-specific help forum seems to be sort of a gap at the moment, though perhaps I've just never heard about one. -
