    patterns of genetic diversity in populations from the genomic sequences

    Dear all:

    Can anyone give me some suggestions how to study the genetic diversity in populations from the genomic sequences? which tools I can use?

    In my current project, I have around 1000 70kb genome sequences. I need to 1) find the genetic variation pattern and their frequency from these sequences. 2) the most common sequences from these 1000 sequences. 3)extract the consensus sequences from these 1000 sequences.

    I have no idea which tools I can use for this purpose. Please give me some suggestion. Thanks in advance!!
