SOAP2 error: length y < 0, countinue as 13

Hi, I'm using SOAP2 to align some short reads (20nt) but got the following error:

length y < 0, countinue as 13

Does anyone know what does this mean and can I change the parameter settings to avoid it? currently I'm using the default parameters.

I met the same problem when query reads was less than 27 nt.
