Executing miramem

I am an undergrad and not very experienced in the use of bioinformatics tools.

I am simply trying to run "miramem" which is part of the MIRA package which I downloaded from http://www.chevreux.org/projects_mira.html. I cannot get this program to run from terminal (because I do not know the command for executing it).

My computer's OS is Ubuntu (I have little experience with linux OS's).

I have tried my best to follow the instructions for proper installation of the program which are laid out in the documentation provided on MIRA's website (I assume my failure to do so correctly would result in my inability to run the program).

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided regarding this matter.

Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.
