Weighted Average Difference

Hey,

i tried the WAD-method and it seems to work very well, but does anyone of you know some references for the wad-value?? which value is normally choosen??

Does really nobody use this method???
Is it like the "normal" fold change???
i.e. value of 2?? can't find literature about this
