Update your software. Answer to half the posts.

I think the answer to over half of the posts is: Upgrade your program to the latest version available.

Perhaps SEQanswers should implement a policy that all posters start by updating their software before reporting issues. Or, get a bot to automatically reply to all users reporting issues to first try updating their software.

The longest, dullest, and most convoluted threads are also generally the ones dealing with a bug in outdated software that has long been fixed.

It would be better to have more posts on more exciting subjects.
