calculus of kmer coverage per chromosomes

Hello everybody

I am trying to find a method to calculate the kmer coverage for each chromosome. I tried genomeCoverageBed and it seems that it is the total coverage of each region of chromosome. Can you tell me how to calculate the kmer coverage for each chromosome?
