    Installing R in ubuntu

    Hi everyone!
I need to install R for using the cummeRbund package.
When I try to install it through apt-get the R version installed is too old for some dependencies of cummeRbund.
Even after I tryed do update the apt-get the R version isn't new enough.
So I downloaded the R version from R website in a gz file and I guess that there's something else that I need to do besides decompressing it.
Can anyone tell what I need to do with my "R-3.2.2.tar.gz" file?
    Since now, thanks!

    Code:
    tar xzvf R-3.2.2.tar.gz
    cd R-3.2.2
    configure
    make
    make check
    sudo make install
    sudo	make install-info
    sudo	make install-pdf
    Or, something along those lines.
After uncompressing the file, you can just read the file INSTALL for the full instructions.
You can just run configure and make if you don't want a system wide installation.
The R executable will then be in the bin subfolder.

    Code:
    tar xzvf R-3.2.2.tar.gz
    cd R-3.2.2
    configure
    make
    bin/R

You might find the packaged version easier, since it will also get updates via apt-get:

Beyond CRISPR/Cas9: Understand, Choose, and Use the Right Genome Editing Tool
        by SEQadmin2

CRISPR/Cas9 sparked the gene editing revolution for both research and therapeutics.1 But this system still showed severe issues that limited its applications. The most prominent were the heavy reliance on PAM sequences, delivery limitations, double-stranded breaks that prompt unintended edits and cell death, and editing inefficiency (both in targeting and in knock-in reliability).

Despite this, “CRISPR helped turn genome editing from a specialized technique into

Proteomic Platforms: How to Choose the Right Analytical Strategy to Improve Detection and Clinical Applications
        by SEQadmin2

Proteomics platforms are evolving rapidly, with advances in mass spectrometry and affinity-based approaches expanding what researchers can detect and at what scale. As the field moves toward deeper proteome coverage and clinical applications, scientists face an increasingly complex landscape of tools. This article will explore how researchers are navigating these choices to find the right platform for their work.

The systematic characterization of the human proteome has
