Computational Gap Closure for 454 and Solid

I am trying to find out whether there are any computational gap closure tools out there for 454 and SOLiD data. I use IMAGE for Illumina data which works quite well, but I don't believe there is anything for 454 data. I believe there may be tools for use with SOLiD but I am having trouble tracking these down.

Anyone able to shed some light?

    If you go here:

    you will see this:

Gap Resolution software is now available for academic use: Gap Resolution was developed by DOE Joint Genome Institute to improve Newbler genome assemblies by automating the closure of sequence gaps caused by repetitive regions in the DNA. If you are interested in acquiring this software, please contact [email protected]
We tried this software and it works, but have not checked all closed gaps by PCR (but the closing suggestions looked reasonable). 454 (newbler) only, though...

Investigating the Gut Microbiome Through Diet and Spatial Biology
      by seqadmin

The human gut contains trillions of microorganisms that impact digestion, immune functions, and overall health1. Despite major breakthroughs, we’re only beginning to understand the full extent of the microbiome’s influence on health and disease. Advances in next-generation sequencing and spatial biology have opened new windows into this complex environment, yet many questions remain. This article highlights two recent studies exploring how diet influences microbial...
