circos: chromosomes_reverse and ticks Options

I have a circos plot that has two chrms in 1 ideogram. I reversed one
of the chrms (to improve the symmetry of
my links) but once I do that my coordinates (ticks) go away for that
chrm:

Is there any other parameter I have to change in the config to bring
the coordinates back again?

I am using circos-0.52.
