Is a Gene mapping tool available?
Dear All,
I have got Genes/CDS from the RNA-Seq data. I want to map these genes to the genome of that organism. Which tool will make it possible ?
I have used Blastn and Megablast till now. But my main problem is that, say a gene is of length 600 bp, but it matches to the genome 100% only to 200bp of its length. Then, should I consider that this gene has mapped? If yes, then how will I give the co-ordinates?
