Hi,
We did 2 16S microbiome sequencing experiments with 6 people in each.
The 6 people are the same 6 people in both experiments.
The only thing that have been changed is the time of the sequencing (not the time we took the sample).
Time x for experiment 1, and time y for experiment 2.
Can i treat a sequencing sample of person A in time x, and a sequencing sample of person A in time y as independent sample for statistics?
Obviously, 2 sequencing of the same person at the same time on the same run are dependant, but in case of 16s microbiome with different time and different runs?
Thanks,
