Failed to View .BAM file in Artemis

I always get this error when I view .BAM file in Artemis. I create the index file in the same folder. The error message I got : .bam.bai is older than .bam file .
I dont have any idea about this. Anyone experience with this?

    Thanks!

Hi, I came across the same problem... have you got the solution? Is it because the Java version is old?

      Hai nivea.
Yup. I already solved the problem. I dont think it's because of Java version.
It's depends on our BAM file. I tried to optimize back my alignment. Then I took out the uniquely mapping reads from the alignment. After that I formatted the BAM file properly. Make sure you have sorted your bam file and index your bam file. In one folder, should have these three files : .bam, sorted.bam, sorted.bam.bai.

      Good luck!

        Hi rururara,

Thanks for reply. I solved the problem too, just named the index file in a wrong way

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
          by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating

New Genomics Technologies Take Aim at Long-Standing Limits
          by SEQadmin2

Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.

We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing
