    Problems in shearing

    Hi erverybody,
i am new in this field. We have a pgm and i started the gDNA shearing.
I have big problems to get the right size.
Can you give me some tips how you optimize your shearing? On which aperatur do you check your sizes? Is it mormal to see only smear?

    Thanks a lot
    Greetings from Munich

Why do not you try enzymatic shearing instead. You can use plate format:
      NEBNext® dsDNA Fragmentase®
This is the default text for fallback 404 continue text
