whats the cheapest solution to whole genome sequence samples?

Illumina and some genomics companies are too expensive I think. Does anyone know of an academic core facility or genomics company offers cheap whole genome sequencing?

    Thanks in advance!

Search the forum for core facilities and you'll find what you're looking for.

Also, there's no need to post the same query multiple times.

Just curious...what do you think it should cost for a whole human genome resequencing, say at 30X coverage?

Somewhere in the range of $1,000 to $10,000 for newer technologies, depending on how much post-processing you need done, whether that 30X is the full fragment length or just the sequenced length, and probably a few other factors.

Investigating the Gut Microbiome Through Diet and Spatial Biology
          by seqadmin

The human gut contains trillions of microorganisms that impact digestion, immune functions, and overall health1. Despite major breakthroughs, we’re only beginning to understand the full extent of the microbiome’s influence on health and disease. Advances in next-generation sequencing and spatial biology have opened new windows into this complex environment, yet many questions remain. This article highlights two recent studies exploring how diet influences microbial...
