  • CLIA certified HiSeq sequencing provider

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know any CLIA certified sequencing service provider? We hope to do exome sequencing for clinical diagnosis (SureSelect enrichment kit/HiSeq2000 preferred) so CLIA certification is a must.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

Are there any sequencing platforms that can be certified. Last I checked they all had some sort of disclaimer that they weren't to be used for the purposes of medical diagnostics. Which I interpret as not for use by CLIA labs.

ARUP Laboratories does it...I think at near cost

Thanks SWP. Looks like they do this for research only according to their website.

EdgeBio was recently all over GenomeWeb for CLIA NGS. Also GeneDx does offers it but that may be too clinical

Our advanced ctDNA technologies enable the most sensitive detection with cancer insights from molecular residual disease to therapy selection.

SeqWright and Ambry are not very good. Personalis is mostly former Illumina employees.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "not very good"? Thanks

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
