Aligners for next-generation sequencing data are typically limited to either a specific class of reads or alignment characteristics. COBWEB is a new alignment algorithm designed to handle both short and long reads, as well as an arbitrary number of gaps and mismatches.
In this webinar, we will provide an overview of COBWEB, along with comparisons to several existing tools for alignment. We will also walk you through the steps for performing alignment of your data within Avadis NGS, prior to quality control and data analysis.
