  • Next Generation Sequencing workshop at EBI

Next month, from 12-14 May 2010, a Next Generation Sequencing workshop
will be held at the EBI in Hinxton, UK.

Topics to be covered include the Sequence Read Archive, Velvet /
    Curtain, SOLiD, SHRiMP and Cortex.

For more detailed information and how to register, please have a look at:

We train scientists at all levels to get the most out of publicly available biological data.

Has any information on the "Cortex de Bruijn-based assembly and variant-calling framework" been made public? It sounds very useful!

Hi there. We'll be making Cortex (and documentation) publicly available in the near future (certainly before the workshop mentioned above). When we do, we'll be sure to mention it on SeqAnswers
      cheers!
