Whole Genome Amplification for Copepods

Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me with some advice for amplifying whole genome DNA. I am trying to extract DNA from a copepod and I have only been able to get very small amounts of DNA and was wondering what was the best way to amplify the whole genome using PCR. I have heard that there are primer sets designed to do this but do these work? and how is the best way to design them?
