Ok so i've been looking everywhere but haven't found the exact answer to my question (if it has a defined) so i'm posting here.
We've all learnt that when a retrovirus infects a cell, the ss rna is reverse transcribed and cdna is integrated into the genome. My question is
Does the ENTIRE viral genome get integrated into the host genome or do only specific parts do so?
can anyone please gimme any publication which can answer my q!
thanks in advance,
Arkal
