Open access sequencing data

Hi
I have been mining 1000 genomes data for novel Y chromosome variants for genetic genealogy. I am wondering if there is any way to access Y chromosome data from any of the hundreds of projects going on in research labs?

you could try searching for whole-genome sequencing of humans like this:
