Hello all,
Does anyone out there have downloaded and tried the new Beta version of PRICE s/w from UCSF (Joe DeRisi's lab)? I have been trying this for the last few weeks and would like to discuss some of the tuneable parameters for typical runs using paired-end sequences to grow a novel or a known genome from a small seed. My trials have not been highly successful in that the growth stops or reaches a plateau very quickly and I am not quite sure how to train (?) this s/w or make better use of params that control a run and/or use of seeds to begin the run with....
Any comments and pointers are welcome....
