Bioinformatics Software for MacPro

Hi,

Just acquired a MacPro for some of our bioinformatics processing. Could anyone out there recommend a use for it. I was thinking especially what software could we use on it to best effect.

Proteomics / genomics anything would be useful.

As your MacPro runs a BSD based unix system (OS X) you can install/use most of the software released for *nix. You will find a pretty comprehensive list here .
