I'm starting a DGE project and am considering using the NuGEN Ovation 3' DGE kit, followed by their Encore Rapid Library Prep. I was surprised and pleased to see that prices for this are comparable to Illumina TruSeq (~$35/sample).
Does anyone have experience they'd be willing to share with this, particularly library qualities?
I have been informed that Qubit or Bioanalyzer won't work as there's no PCR amplification in the Encore Rapid prep, so quantification will require KAPPA qPCR which does add ~$20/prep to the cost.
