    Bioinformatics jobs from home?

Hello all, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through your site so far!
And please let me apologize if I am posting this in the wrong section.

I am extremely interested in pursuing an MS or Phd in bioinformatics, I just recently graduated with a bio major.
My question to you is, in short, are there any work from home or telecommute bioinformatics jobs, in general.
Is such a thing even possible?
I would be very grateful if someone could please point me in the right direction in regards to this topic.
    Thanks!

It really on depends on the company you work for. I work from home a couple days a week but my job is 50% programming, 25% software testing and 25% data analysis. I think the more programming your job entails, the more likely you are to be allowed to work from home. I didn't set out looking for a telecommuting position but it ended up being a bonus.

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
      by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating

New Genomics Technologies Take Aim at Long-Standing Limits
      by SEQadmin2

Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.

We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing
