Small RNA's

Hi. I have a very basic question... I need to extract RNA and small RNA from tree buds, but the process of disrupting the plant cells is fairly lenghty and limiting to the amount I can do per day. Now, I'm thinking of using RNA later to store the cut out and disrupted sample just to speed up the process a bit. Do anyone know if the RNA later will have a negative effect on the small RNA's?

Please help!!
