phyloseq_to_deseq2 question
Hi there,
I'm trying to use phyloseq to analyze my 16S data and have a quick question. I want to use DESeq2 to normalize my data before draw heat map bar_plot. My question is：
As the following command : ‘diagdds = phyloseq_to_deseq2(kostic, ~ DIAGNOSIS)’, I need to specify a variable like 'DIAGNOSIS'. But actually, I have several variables in my metadata file. Is this command mean my dataset will be normalized according to variable 'DIAGNOSIS'? If I want to normalize according to another variable (such as treatment, SampleType), I need to do it again?
