Setup sequence aligner in MPICH2 cluster
I am really new to cluster computer but I want to try it because using 1 computer take a bit of time. In my lab, I have several old PC so I think it would be good if I have a cluster computer. I think I will follow MPICH2 cluster in Ubuntu because it looks simple. My question is, can Bowtie2/BWA aligner be used from MPICH2 cluster? How to do it? Thank you.

You can actually try Rocks instead. Very few programs are truly parallel in NGS data analysis area so MPICH2 is not going to help.
