I work in a facility where we do 16S and shotgun metagenomics sequencing, and every now and then the idea that 16S sequencing is a thing of the past pops up.
Now, I see both sides of the argument, but I was wanting your opinions, for discussions sake! Do you find that 16S sequencing is an important part of the current sequencing world, or is it soemthing that is still used but less and less as time goes by. What
