Greetings everyone-
I've been lurking here for ~18 months but missed that I was supposed to introduce myself.
I'm an all-hats computational biologist and "all-purpose geek" as a friend insists on calling me. I've worked on molecular mechanics, protein structure prediction, sequence pattern discovery in academia, and then worked in industry for 8 years on structure-based target discovery, large-scale data integration (primarily http://unison-db.org/), and managing a large research computing environment. I'm now part of a fantastic team in San Francisco working to build sequencing-based diagnostic services.
