Hey there. I am an evolutionary geneticist at NIH, working on the comparative genomics of malaria parasites. I'm not new to using next gen sequence information, but I am a very much a beginner at generating it. I am learning about .sam/.bam./.bam.bai/.sorted.bam/.vcf files, as well as shell scripting, as I go along. Every time I Google something I end up here, so it seems like a place I should frequent.
