Hi!
I am about to start my PhD in Stockholm (my hometown), Sweden. I have a background mainly in ecology and evolutionary biology; however, I wrote my Master's thesis (actually an old Swedish equivalent to a Master's thesis, 'filosofie magister') on cyanobacterial physiology and will continue to work with cyanobacteria, but with a metagenomic approach. I am almost entirely new to the field of bioinformatics and /meta-/genomics, but I am eager to learn and thought it would be nice to join SEQanswers instead of just lurk around
