Hi There,
My name is Emma. I am the microbiologist at Monterey Bay Aquarium in California. I'm working on setting up our lab to use 16S sequencing to identify infectious microbes causing problems in the animals here. Pretty simple stuff, I think. But I only have limited experience doing it myself, and I've never been the one responsible for designing the experiments. I also have no one here to ask for help. I'm hoping some of you more experienced experts can help me come up with some of the parameters I'm stumbling on. So I apologize in advance for my probably "dumb" questions, and I appreciate any future help!
