Hi everybody,
My name is Pall Olason, I am a bioinformatician at Decode Genetics.
We have had two Illumina GA-1s since summer 2007. We have mostly been running pooled samples for variation detection. We run the usual solexa pipeline, distributed on a ~350 node cluster, to produce the reads and QC data. Then our statisticians employ inhouse aligners & snp callers to call variants.
Just wanted to say hi, and thank you for a very informative forum.
