    Hello from Philadelphia

I just joined the forum and wanted to say hello.
I have a basic question:- what does 10x coverage mean?

Usually 10x coverage means one base will be covered ten times on average, generally speaking, your target sequence is about 10Mb, 10x coverage data presents 100Mb

I would like to be directed to a good and easy tutorial to learn RNA SEQ analysis of a public data base eg from CSHL?
