I'm currently involved in a project for the assembly and annotation of a microbial genome which relies at least in part on sequence reads from a Roche 454 machine.
My current affiliation is with the center for bioinformatics of the University of Hamburg (http://www.zbh.uni-hamburg.de). My background is in biochemistry/molecular biology and bioinformatics.
