Hello everyone!
My name is Alex SMITH and I've recently started as a bioinformatics/biostatistics postdoc at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research in Wellington, New Zealand! I'm currently up-skilling in NGS data analysis for an upcoming mouse dendritic cell RNA-project at our institute (absolutely necessary given that my background is in bacterial comparative genomics and applied statistics!). I might also get to work on some mouse/human gut metagenomcis... Either way I'm guessing I'll be having loads of questions for everyone, so thanks in advance
