    Hello to every one

    Hello to every one !
    I am working for the Center for Veterinary Diagnostics which belongs to Department of Animal Health of Vietnam.
    I have just received the Junior 454 sequencer.
    I wonder if any one has experience on application Junior 454 sequencer for doing sequencing for animal pathogens such as Avian Influenza virus , Classical Swine Fever , Foot and Mouth Disease, . . .
    I am a beginner , so really need your help.

    Data variability is still an issue in sequencing technologies despite the advances in reproducibility and accuracy of these platforms. But the problem does not originate in the sequencing itself, but in the previous steps, before the sample reaches the sequencer.

    The first step is collection, followed by preservation and sample preparation for analysis. Most scientists overlook those steps, but not being careful might just be skewing the experiment’s results.
