Briefly,
I am a long time faculty member of a Biochemistry & Molecular Biology department.
I teach graduate courses in nucleic acids and protein synthesis and in molecular genetics. Sequencing methodology is part of these courses.
My research speciality has become plant viruses, especially their evolution and biodiversity.
As a consequence, my group uses sequencing services and we analyze sequence information in multiple ways.
My colleagues and I are currently looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow and an Assistant Research Scientist to assist our sequence analysis efforts. I will post information on these positions soon.
