Hi,
just wanted to re-introduce myself. I used to hang around on SEQanswers a couple of years back (in 2010/2011), but have been busy elsewhere since.
My name is Samuel Arvidsson and I'm working for a private sequencing service company in Berlin, Germany, doing bioinformatics on mainly Illumina HiSeq, MiSeq and some Sanger data, occasionally 454 as well. Anything ranging from 16S microbial diversity analyses to RNA-Seq and whole genome (re-)sequencing. And I daily do a lot of sequence pre-processing for HiSeq and MiSeq data.
Previously, I've been doing NGS analyses at a Max-Planck Institute (bioinformatic Postdoc at the MPIMP in Potsdam/Golm) after my PhD in molecular biology (wet lab, Arabidopsis) at the University of Potsdam.
See you around, cheers,
Samuel
