Introduction

Hi there,
I am just begining my adventure in genome assembly and annotation and have so far found several of the posts on this forum very helpful! I did my PhD in chemistry (natural product synthesis/small molecule-protein SAR/inhibitor design), but decided to shift fields for a post doc so I have much to learn. I am paticularly interested in fungal genome assembly, especially from PacBio technology at the moment.
