Affordable benchtope NG sequencing

Hi - I've just joined this forum. Apologies if there is already a post on this. I am interested in benchtop NGS for my group - academic CRISPR screens genome sequencing. What do people think between the affordable technologies eg up to a Miseq. Is this something Oxford nanopore would be capable of?
