Read a lot of posts here whilst trying to set up some NGS methods so thought I might as well join.
We currently have a few qPCR instruments and a MiSeq.
Currently I am looking at implementing a method of determining water quality in rivers using diatom species abundance. The lab is also interested in microbial source tracking (we use qPCR at the moment but would like to shift to NGS), pathogen detection/AMR, detection of non-native invasive species, microbial community profiling and other ecology molecular things (particularly for water quality).
